The Beeches Nursing Home
The Beeches, located in Worthing, West Sussex, is a privately run Care Home with Nursing offering exceptional standards of residential, convalescent, respite and nursing care for the elderly. The Beeches offers hotel style facilities, whilst ensuring specialist care for long term or short stay residents.
Our core aim is to provide a comfortable, safe, friendly lifestyle for our residents, making them feel valued and respected by meeting their needs with understanding, flexibility and sensitivity.
One of our priorities is to ensure that all residents receive diets tailored to their individual needs. To this end staff are given as much time as necessary to assist each resident to enjoy plentiful, nutritious food and drink.
Also of prime importance is the prevention and control of infection. Our designated Infection and Prevention Control Lead monitors and audits the Infection control policies and procedures to promote safe, clean care.
The safeguarding of our residents is paramount and our staff are trained in the protection of adults at risk of abuse. Fundamental to this is the Beeches culture of treating all residents and staff with respect and dignity.
Residential Accommodation
All 38 rooms at The Beeches Care Home have en-suite facilities and are equipped with a TV and nurse call bells enabling around the clock nursing care for our elderly residents. Single or double rooms are available. We encourage residents to bring personal items such as ornaments and pictures to help them feel at home in their new environment.
Catering
The Beeches Care Home offers only the highest standard of cooking. All special dietary requirements are catered for. Our Head Chef only buys fresh vegetables and meat. Our Head Chef believes fresh produce provides the best nutritional value and best flavours for his dishes. She certainly receives many compliments from the residents. As one resident said: “Being here is like being in a 5 star hotel where the food is delicious, plentiful and very tempting.”
