Sitting in 2 acres of gorgeous gardens with only 25 bedrooms (a lot of our competitors are a 100+ bedrooms) our sole focus is to provide our residents with a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which their care, well-being and comfort are paramount. Our staff strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy within a warm and caring atmosphere and in doing so, will be sensitive to each individual’s ever-changing needs.
Each person’s plan-of-care is individualised and person-centred, they are encouraged to participate in its development with the involvement of family and friends, which is greatly valued. All our staff are qualified to deliver the highest standards of care. A continuous training programme ensures that these high standards are maintained in-line with the latest initiatives and practices.

Sloe Hill is proud to offer a diverse range of activities and social outings available to all our residents. We have events that aim to suit every individual’s interests and have the flexibility to accommodate both vivacious residents and those who are more reserved.

We aim to go above and beyond in the care world of Sloe Hill providing residents with access to attend social outings such as The Lavendar Fields in lckleford, to Graveley for Strawberry Picking and The Discovery Centre in Luton.
It does not stop there… we also recommend our public house lunches, previously visiting The Gardeners arms, The Three Moor Hens and The Crown in Stevenage.
Celebrating birthdays, Easter, Halloween and Christmas are also occasions to look out for on the Sloe Hill social calendar. Together with our activities programme and social outings, we host a mid-summer garden party too which welcomes resident’s friends and family. Set in our sprawling grounds, this event is not one to be missed!
