Lordington Park is a Residential Care Home and Convalescent Home for the Elderly, situated in the peaceful, scenic South Downs countryside near Chichester, West Sussex.
Lordington Park has been owned and run by our family for over 30 years, and we have been privileged to provide long-term residential care as well as short-term respite and convalescence care for ladies and gentlemen during this time.
Our residents are at the heart of everything we do and providing a friendly ‘home from home’ residence is important to all the people who live and work here. We deliver care and support with courtesy and dignity and strive to create a lifestyle and care plan that suits each individual resident.
Lordington Park has the splendour, decor and charm of a country house with large, airy, light rooms and wonderful views across the extensive gardens and grounds against the backdrop of the beautiful Downs, together with all modern care facilities (lift, easy access showers, etc.) to support independent living and mobility.

Nestled in the picturesque landscapes of the South Downs, Lordington Park is registered to provide personal and residential care for 18 individuals over the age of 65, and we offer accommodation to residents on a permanent stay or short stay basis, for example, for convalescence.
All 18 single rooms at Lordington Park are very spacious, light and quintessentially those of a country home. Tastefully furnished and decorated, our residents are encouraged to bring their own treasured possessions and furniture to create a warm ‘home from home’ feel to their rooms – and this extends to pets where it is feasible.
All rooms are fitted with modern facilities to aid independent living and mobility, affording you country living with safety built-in. This includes easy accessibility to all areas of the house and a lift to reach the upstair bedrooms.
Each bedroom has full en-suite facilities including an easy access shower / wet-room and is equipped with a 24-hour call system to call a member of staff at a moment’s notice.
At Lordington Park our priority is to ensure that residents receive the highest standard of care and understanding. Our resident’s privacy and individualism is respected at all times, which are why each resident’s bedroom is treated as their own private domain.
