Cow Lees Care Home
Cow Lees Care Home is a 72 bed facility that provides specialist nursing care for people with dementia and challenging behaviour. Cow Lees Care Home was established in 1992 and we are a family run business.
There are three separate units at Cow Lees;
Cow Lees – an 18 bed unit conversion over two floors with some en-suite rooms.
Astley House was opened in 2003 – a 24 bed purpose built unit over two floors with all en-suite rooms.
Sole End House – a 30 bed purpose built unit over three floors with all en-suite rooms.
Sole End House is a state of the art facility that has won a Pinders Healthcare Design Award. Opened in 2016.
Cow Lees Care Home is set in 3 acres of countryside that provides a tranquil and picturesque setting for our residents.

All employees undergo a strict pre-employment process that includes:
References, Enhanced DBS checks and Nursing and Midwifery Council registration checks.
This is complimented by a thorough induction programme upon employment.

Package of care
Our residents have a package of care that meets all of their needs and dependencies. We actively invite and encourage family members to have an input into the planning of care.
Nursing staff are trained in care planning and the quality of the care plan will determine the standard of care provided. All of our care plans are based on the model of care that encompasses the Person Centred Approach.
