Casa Mia Care Home

Casa Mia Care Home is a residential setting for adults who, due to old age, mental ill health, learning disability or acquired brain injury, are in need of 24 hour a day long- and short-term care.

Casa Mia is made up of two private residential properties joined together to form the home. It provides ample car parking at the front and to the rear are large gardens with disabled access.

The home was formed in 1983 as a care home for the elderly and was changed to care specifically for  mental health and learning disabilities in early 2008. The present owners have owned it since 1998.

Casa Mia Care Home is situated in the quiet Worcestershire village of Far Forest, on the outskirts of Bewdley on the A 4117, on the edge of the picturesque Wyre Forest.

The home stands in approximately an acre of mature gardens, home to varying species of wild and bird life. Within the garden we also have Gym, a thatched roof entertainment area (African Hut), whilst to the other side of the garden is a wonderfully stocked vegetable garden with green house (looked after by the clients who live at Casa Mia) and chicken coop. There is a substantial decked area and large paved area overlooking the gardens.

The village has a well equipped general store and a public house which claims to provide the best carvery in England. Busses from Birmingham to Hereford pass through regularly passing through on their way such places as Kidderminster, Bewdley, Cleobury Mortimer and Ludlow.

Casa Mia Care Home provides 22 bedrooms, five of which are situated on the first floor, the majority being ground floor.

All have en suite, some with showers and some which also have self contained kitchen facilities.
