Brackley Fields Country House Retirement Home

Brackley Fields Country House Retirement Home is a charming large Victorian farm house. It was adapted to become a care home in 1986 and a purpose built 14 bed two storey wing with shaft lift and other facilities was added in 2007.

The home is inside the north east town boundary of the delightful and historical market town of Brackley in South Northamptonshire on the Banbury – Brackley bus route. The Home offers easy access via the A43 dual carriageway between the M40 and M1.

The building sits in the middle of 1.25 acres of formal gardens with views over the adjoining countryside. The home is supported by all three nearby GP practices. Hairdressing, chiropody and optometry are provided by long established visiting services.

Brackley Fields Country House Retirement Home was established in 1986 and under present ownership from 1995. It was extended in 2007 to provide 34 beds in 33 rooms. Twenty one bedrooms are single en-suite, 11 are single rooms and one double room, ostensibly for a couple.

Public accommodation is comprised of:

  • conservatory
  • 3 sitting rooms, one of which is on the first floor

  • a dining room.

The Home is owned by Lt Col, (Retd) & Mrs J Rayner. Mrs Rayner MSc Health Studies; BSc Nursing has had wide experience practising as a SRN.

The Home is registered with the Care Quality Commission to accept 34 elderly people over 65 years of whom some may have mild dementia
