Brookholme Care Home prides itself on a person centred approach to the care needs of individuals, promoting independence, dignity and choice. In doing so, we aim to create a secure, relaxed, happy and homely atmosphere for residents and staff.
A holistic approach is adopted and is directed to the physical, mental,emotional, social, cultural and spiritual needs.
Our home is situated in a pleasant area of Chesterfield, close to the town centre and Somersall Park. It is also easily accessible by car and public transport.

Accommodation
Brookholme Care Home is registered for 40 residents. Accommodation is provided over two floors and accessed by a passenger lift and comprises 40 single bedrooms. There is a choice of lounges , conservatory, hairdressing room and a dinning room overlooking the garden.
The Home benefits from a large well maintained garden to the rear of the premises and car parking facilities to the front. The home also prides itself in excellent catering, in-house entertainment and a residents’ garden. This really is a home that stands out.
Staffing
Our staff are the lifeblood of the Home and we are investing a lot of resources to make sure our staff are well trained and supervised. We have achieved an Investors in People Award.
To further improve the quality of care, the home employs a Physiotherapist and an Occupational Therapist. We believe this to be unique for a care home in Chesterfield. We also have a chef with a team of kitchen staff and team of maintenance and domestic staff.
Visiting
We have an Open House policy on visiting. We encourages relatives and friends to visit the Home during the day or evening. Visitors are able to go into residents’ rooms, if acceptable to the individual.
