Holmehurst Residential Home is an established care home currently operating with 16 bedrooms, 2 of which have been designated for double occupancy and is situated in a private road in the Denton Holme area of Carlisle.
The home has been transformed over the past 5 years and the improvements continue with 3 new large bedrooms built to a high specification – due to be available by Nov/Dec 2016. All the rooms are appointed to a high standard and the 2 large lounges and dining room/conservatory have also been extensively updated. For assisted bathing we have an updated bathroom on the ground floor along with a purpose built wet room on the first and second floor. There has also recently been an addition of a stair lift to supplement the lift for disabled access.
Holmehurst has been operating as a residential care home for 60 years and we benefit from a great team of very loyal staff with a low turnover meaning that residents get a continuity of care from familiar well-trained staff.
