Sunnyside Residential Care Home has been operating in the same ownership since 1981 and is conveniently situated in the prestigious Avenues Conservation Area, within the leafy Sefton Park district of Liverpool.
We pride ourselves immensely on our low staff turnover. Our 10 most senior members of staff have been with us for, on average, 15 years.
This, we know, gives our residents the chance to form friendships with the staff and adds to their sense of security within a “family” unit. The emphasis is very much focused towards a small personal family atmosphere, as opposed to a larger “corporate”, often impersonal environment.
Sunnyside is registered to provide 24-hour personal care for a maximum of 22 service users.
Our friendly team is committed, experienced and fully trained to meet all of our clients’ requirements, whilst providing 24-hour support.
We provide high quality residential care for adults with basic care needs, as well as those who require specialised care for more complex conditions, such as dementia.
We also offer the opportunity for shorter periods of respite or convalescent care, perhaps following an illness or a stay in hospital.
Family and main carers could rest assured that their loved one is being cared for by experienced qualified staff in warm and welcoming surroundings.
We have constantly upgraded the premises to provide comfortable and attractively furnished accommodation in single rooms, mostly ensuite, whilst maintaining our basic principle of providing high quality person-centred care. Our 22 bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished to high standards with flat screen televisions and free wifi.
We also produce a regular newsletter to update relatives and friends as to the latest happenings at Sunnyside.
