Kingfield Holt Residential Care Home
Kingfield Holt Residential Care Home is privately owned, set in an elegant Edwardian house with
modem extension, sited in attractive spacious mature gardens with sitting out patio and ample car
parking spaces, in a sought after area of Sheffield.
We offer care to 25 elderly persons on long stay, short stay or respite periods all in single rooms
(mostly ensuite) over two floors south facing with windows looking out over the gardens.
Residents may bring own furniture or treasured items if desired to make a bedroom seem like
home.
The Care Home is managed by a Registered General Nurse (RGN) who also holds the Registered Managers
Award. Our Manager is well placed by qualification and experience for early detection of
changing health and care needs. We are well supported by local GP and District Nursing team.
We are confident that we provide an excellent standard of person centred care in a safe and
comfortable environment.
Our priority is the care and comfort of our residents.
Initial assessment of care needs preferably by day visit, detailed care plans, care reviews, risk assessments, falls risk assessment, medication reviews with assigned G.P., all undertaken to ensure we meet the care and health needs of residents. Dentist, chiropodist, optician, hearing aid services arranged. Hairdressing weekly, ecumenical church service monthly regularly held. Hospital appointments/admissions escorting can be provided.
All single rooms, mostly ensuite, with call bells, TV points, telephone points, wash-basins (ensuites wash-basin and toilet), wardrobe, shelf or drawer storage (with locked facility). Central heating can be controlled by resident to suit temperature in own bedroom.
Wheelchair lift to first floor and flat access to Home via garden room door.
3 dining areas, 2 lounges, garden (sun) room, lift, assisted baths, shower room, hairdressing room, on site laundry.
Residents have computer access for e-mailing, Skype or payphone to family/friends contacts.
