This stately manor house sits in pleasant grounds 1 mile north from the bustling market town of Romsey on the edge of the New Forest.
Registered for general nursing care, respite and palliative care for 30 residents aged over 50, the original house has been modernised and refurbished, to retain its comfort and character whilst incorporating the very latest equipment expected of a modern nursing home.
Amenities
Traditional home cooking is prepared daily in our own kitchen where resident’s dietary requirements, likes and dislikes, are all individually catered for.
A large elegant lounge with dining area bright and cheerful orangery with attractive views over the mature gardens and access to a decked court yard area complete with water feature. There is a smaller lounge which can be booked for those special occasions. Within the grounds there is a large gazebo, which is affectionately know as the bandstand.
Hairdressing, physiotherapy, chiropody, dental, optical and personal laundry services are all available within the home.
Activities
A specialist activities co-coordinator organises group or individual entertainment activities both inside and outside the home. Plus regular trips from Cedar Lawn are organized to the shops or local churches and pubs.
A successful ‘kitchen garden’ set up by the staff and residents growing a variety of vegetables, supplies the kitchen for residents to then sample the fruits of their labours.

An ongoing staff development and training provision ensure that our Residents are supported and cared for by a skilled and knowledgeable work force.
