Set in the sea-side town of St. Annes in Lancashire, Headroomgate is a former Edwardian gentleman’s residence that has been sympathetically converted to create a unique residential Home. Headroomgate was constructed in 1912 and retains many period features including the original rockery in the front garden of the home. The home is fully equipped to meet the individual needs of its residents, whilst retaining a homely and inviting environment.

The home is ideally situated in a quiet residential area 5 minutes from the lively and attractive town centre of St. Annes making it convenient both for the local shops or the promenade.

The home has a large spacious lounge on the ground floor which is tastefully decorated with comfortable high-back chairs, small tables, foot stools, television and video/DVD player. A traditional coal effect fire and fireplace adds to the character of this room and creates a cosy feel during the cold winter months.

The home has a large dining room / relaxation room on the ground floor. The residents normally have their meals in this room and can also choose to sit in this room for quiet relaxation time. This room has a beautiful large bay window and this bay area is furnished with comfortable seating so as the residents and their visitors can relax and enjoy the views of the garden and watch the passers-by. The room has an original fireplace and a feature coal effect fire which gives the room a traditional cosy feel.

Headroomgate has a beautiful garden with a delightful lawned area at the front of the home. There is also a furnished patio that has a variety of flowers and shrubs where, during the summer months, the residents can enjoy the sunshine and the breathtaking sea air. Great care has been taken to ensure that the garden is accessible to wheelchairs to allow enjoyment for everyone. A fence has recently been erected in the garden to provide a safe and secure area in the garden for the residents to enjoy. A new outdoor enclosed decking area has recently been added.
